Welcome to the City of Landfall Public Archives!

Head's up: final draft is currently hosted on Google Docs, here.

Librarian:
Hello! Welcome to the City of Landfall Public Archive! Currently, records are only available in English. We apologize for this inconvenience. I see that you're a guest. Would you like me to help you set up an account? Would you like to subscribe to our remote services or sign up for a Library Card?

Guest:
> What is this? Who are you?

Librarian:
I'm the City of Landfall Digital Archivist! You may call me "Librarian!" You are currently logged into a public-use terminal as a guest. How can I help you?

Guest:
> Where are you?

Librarian:
My main data storage and processing center is in the library's basement, but I have backup units in City Hall and an emergency failsafe unit in public storage.
Is this information helpful?

Guest:
> What can you tell me about this city of Landfall?

Librarian:
The City of Landfall is the site of Recolonization. Founded in 00000 by surviving members of the Deep Explorations Project, Landfall is the oldest inhabited human settlement. According to the 01310 Census, the current population of Landfall is 41,216, with a further 58,973 people living outside city limits. Landfall has many art and research centers, four universities, multiple solar and wind power plants, and the continent's first water park.
Would you like me to provide you with visitor information?

Guest:
> You're cryptic and nonsensical, but this is what I've come to expect from ancient daemons. Can you provide me with information from this Public Archive?

Librarian:
I can assure you my functions are entirely mundane and don't in any way involve "daemons" or any other mythical creatures. Regardless, I'll gladly do what I can to help you find what you're looking for!

Guest:
> Good. I'm happy to have your cooperation, at least. So tell me, Librarian, what do you know of the Ambassador?
