Description: SCP-XX is a spacetime rift located in Yellowstone National Park, which, when traversed, provides access to a parallel reality. This world is largely similar to baseline except for some differences in mammalian evolutionary history.
SCP-XX-1 is the Foundation-analogue organization within SCP-XX, which exhibits almost identical structure, ideology, and protocol. Currently the baseline Foundation has excellent relations with SCP-XX-1. See Document-E2047-3 for information on diplomatic and translation procedure.
Discovery: On 2023/08/11, satellite systems picked up a transmission by SCP-XX-1. This consisted of a standard signal designed to be detectable by other Foundation-like organizations in alternate realities without alerting their local civilian authorities.
Discussions with SCP-XX-1 representatives revealed that two civilians, John and Brenda Monroe had been camping in the park and accidentally crossed through SCP-XX, a previously unknown anomaly, and had been contained by SCP-XX-1. While held, they were examined and interviewed, which led their organization to discover SCP-XX, after which they contacted the baseline Foundation.
The civilians were remanded into Foundation custody and moved to Area-41 for debriefing and amnesticization.
