SCP-0000 manifesting over Warsaw, Poland following the death of Leon Królik.
Item #: SCP-0000
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-0000, direct containment of manifestation events is unfeasible, though largely unnecessary. Containment measures are consequently to be centered around the monitoring of manifestation events as well as investigation into persons involved. In the event of overtly suspect or anomalous manifestations, the use of aerosol amnestics over affected areas and populations is approved.

Description: SCP-0000 denotes a phenomenon observed to manifest upon the deaths of certain individuals. As inferred from extensive investigations into manifestation events and persons involved, SCP-0000 manifestation events were more likely to occur upon an individual's death if the subject:
- Self-identified or was recognized by others as an artist
- Expressed a particularly intense interest in art or creative pursuits, especially pertaining to visual mediums
- Possessed some awareness of anomalous phenomenon
- Died while in the process of producing a piece of artistic media
SCP-0000 manifests as meteorological conditions that are invariably described to the effect of being beautiful or highly aesthetically appealing. Instances are generally composed of natural atmospheric elements such as clouds, precipitation, and natural lighting. Despite uniform consensus on the aesthetic quality of these forms, SCP-0000 has been observed to induce no mind-altering effects in viewers.
Addendum 0000.1: The following is a collection of observed SCP-0000 instances and their contextual documentation.
Incident 0000.1: On DATE at approximately TIME, SCP-0000 manifested over LOCATION. The resulting meteorology possessed abnormally vivid visuals, blatantly unnatural composition, and persisted for approximately fifteen minutes. The manifestation also exhibited a strong cognitohazard that caused memories of individuals present in LOCATION to retain perfect clarity even months after the event, even through the administration of amnestic agents.
Following this incident, the individual whose passing caused the SCP-0000 manifestation remained unidentified for several days. While looking into deaths concurrent with the event at a nearby hospital, agents noted a set of slightly anomalous ornamentations among the effects of a recently-deceased patient by the name of Morgan Stierson. Further investigation confirmed her connection to the event.
Among Stierson's belongings were a variety of art supplies, drawing books, several small paintings, and the aforementioned ornaments.1
Included with Stierson's possessions was a small journal. Sample entries have been transcribed below.

Scans and biopsy results came back. It's not looking great.
DATE BEFORE EVENT
Jesse told me that every time an artist goes to heaven, God lets them paint the sky. "One last canvas before Eternity," she said. I wonder what I'll create when I go. A sky to remember. A sky to make them all happy, even when I'm gone. A sky to make even God proud.
I can only imagine.
