Auxiliary segments of SCP-0000 during an activity spike.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-0000 is contained at the location of its discovery. A two-kilometer exclusion zone has been established around its location under guise of a seafloor ecological study sanctuary.

SCP-0000 is to be monitored at all times via remote cameras by personnel stationed at Outpost-91, located on Livingston Island. Lysende Events are to be documented via Remotely Operated Vehicle immediately upon occurrence. The contents of these events are to then be compiled, sealed, and transmitted to SCP-0000 project heads at Site-72 immediately for further deliberation.

Description: SCP-0000 is an anomalous siphonophore colony fused to the head of the late Dr. Hallvard Stenseth,1 located along the seafloor off the western coast of Livingston Island, Antarctica. The head of SCP-0000 is intact and inert, though notably appears to possess several minor biomechanical augments, such as dermal plating and a synthetic eye. Past SCP-0000's head, the entity's body is primarily composed of bulbous segments measuring ~1 cm wide, each coated in bioluminescent cells.

Despite superficial observations of SCP-0000 suggesting it to be approximately 35 meters long, closer examination has revealed it to possess a theoretically infinite length.2 Moreover, each segment of SCP-0000's body has been determined to correspond sequentially to a digit of pi,3 beginning at the base of the head and proceeding down its body to an assumedly infinite continuance.

Lysende Events denote periods during which segments of SCP-0000 will brightly luminesce. By correlating numbers represented by pi into alphanumeric equivalents, these events functionally display coded messages that may then be translated by observers.

The contents of these messages will almost always contain information pertaining to a subject whose future activity would result in a massive loss of life, significant infrastructural damage, jeopardization of Foundation secrecy and protocols, and even K-Class scenarios if not properly managed or prevented. Subjects of these communications have proven extremely various, ranging from people to natural phenomena, to anomalous entities or objects.

Addendum 0000.1: Blurb about Dr. Stenseth?

Addendum 0000.2: The following is a collection of transmissions recorded during Lysende Events and each corresponding incident.

A stygian cold moves unseen. Time is short.

Associated Incident:
A segment of SCP-6304 was found to have grown off of its usual course and approached within ten meters of an underground water source. The segment was contained to prevent contact.

Notes:
Contact between the rogue segment of SCP-630 and the nearby water source would likely have caused a spread of the anomaly into the city of Iquitos' water system. This would likely have resulted in catastrophic environmental and infrastructural damages to the region, as well as a considerable number of human casualties.

In the blind north, the damned feast upon the solstice's sun.

Associated Incident:
A Sarkic cult located in Nordland, Norway, was found to be attempting to perform a thaumaturgical ritual to manifest hazardous anomalous pathogens. The event coincided with the winter solstice.

Notes:
MTF Beta-777 and biohazard response forces intervened and were able to halt most of the ritual. Partial manifestation of pathogens was achieved, resulting in contamination of several Foundation agents and all present cultists. The area has been quarantined and infection control protocols are underway.

that bitch dennis from accounting i swear to god

Associated Incident:
Dennis Forsberg, an accountant working in Site-19's logistical department was investigated and found to have been leaking Foundation intelligence to members of the Serpent's Hand.

Notes:
Forsberg was reprimanded and demoted, though remains with the Foundation as an undercover asset attempting to infiltrate the Serpent's Hand through the channels he initially used to communicate with the group.

Deviation from SCP-0000's standard tone in the generated message has been noted, the reason for which remains unclear.
