Taken during initial containment of SCP-4142.
Item #: SCP-4142
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4142 is contained within a Humanoid Containment Chamber in Site-496. The interior of the chamber is to be completely covered in moss at all times.
Should SCP-4142 breach containment, the area is to be flooded with a fog of Lachrymatory Agent KP-119, and SCP-4142 is to be subdued via long range tranquilizers, blindfolded, and returned.
Description: SCP-4142 is a 29-year-old Hispanic female, identifying as "Thalia Contreras".
SCP-4142's main anomalous property is the formation of thin films of an oily, explosive liquid on nonliving surfaces1 in the central 11° cone of its line of sight, at the rate of 1.2 cm/s. SCP-4142's vision will trigger liquid formation uncontrollably up to a range of approximately 700m; beyond this, SCP-4142 must exert itself physically to generate liquid.
Researcher Quinn preparing heavily diluted samples of SCP-4142 liquid.
Liquid produced by SCP-4142 is 98% nitroglycerin and 2% human blood; this blood does not genetically match SCP-4142. Despite this, SCP-4142's liquid detonates with an RE of approximately 4, compared to 1.5 for ordinary nitroglycerin. SCP-4142 is unharmed by the heat and force generated by the detonation of its liquid.
Acquisition: On 02/19/2017, a Type 3A dimensional anomaly appeared in the air, approximately 10km from Site-496, violently ejecting SCP-4142 and fragments of a room into the surrounding woods. MTF Mu-8 ("Southern Hospitality") was dispatched.
